The supply chain members in the Talent Solutions Coalition (TSC) are post-secondary institutions and certification providers offering industry-recognized programs and certifications in support of careers in aviation manufacturing and maintenance. Membership contributions underwrite support for these members which is provided by a TSC staff group headquartered at the National Center for Aviation Training (NCAT) in Wichita, Kansas.
TSC supply chain members enjoy two types of support services:
Institutional Marketing and Employer Engagement. TSC advertises the institutional capabilities of its supply chain members on the TSC website and through various promotions of TSC in industry media. TSC staff also design and manage talent fulfillment projects for aviation employers. TSC supply chain members are organized into service teams for individual employers. The composition of these teams varies depending on suppliers’ capabilities and the talent acquisition needs of each TSC client.
Forums in Talent Management Best Practices and Curriculum Content. TSC staff provide annual forums on a variety of talent management topics for TSC supply chain members. In addition, TSC staff offer supply chain members a portfolio of portable ‘soft-skills’ curricula which can be used to complement technical training and education in work with TSC’s employer clients. Wichita Area Technical College makes this content available as part of its role as the managing partner of NCAT and TSC.
